One of the things I like most about the company is that it is very small and virtually unknown. It’s not saturated.  Most people have never heard of it before.  Talk to 1,000 people and you might find one person who has heard of it before. Sure, they don’t have all the bells and whistles of a big company, but you can get in touch with the CEO when needed.

I’ve written ad nauseum about the idea of offering special, confidential deals with “elite” networkers. Confidential deals occur when a company provides extra incentives to lure experienced networkers from another company. The incentives take many forms, but usually involve up-front money, preferred placement in the genealogy, enhanced earning potential in the pay plan, etc. If you look historically at the companies that have been aggressive with deals, theres always a massive POP followed by a massive DROP. Who gets hurt? The average distributors that signed up under the pretenses of joining the “next hot thing.”
Looking compliant is easy. Building a CULTURE around compliance is hard. Building a culture requires doing more than paying lip service to compliance. It requires full buy-in at the corporate level to teach and enforce the important policies. It requires field leaders committed to responsible growth, and corporate leaders that avoid saying things like “the lawyers make us do this.” And finally, it requires constant investment.
Hello I'm working with the company called Javita Coffee Company. I'm with the company for just 3 weeks. The industry is can be Health and wellness, can be coffee, can be in weight loss industry. My favorite product is everything because the coffee - energy and mind, depression, stress, anxiety, memory, epilepsy, Alzheimer. The coffee burn and control, can burn fats fast, metabolism, fats convert to energy. Lean and green tea, deabetes, high blood sugar, high blood pressure, and more. The cleansing tea it will cleanse your body! The reason I choose this company is about their healthy products and of course, a lot of people are drinking coffee, 90% of the people in the united state drinking coffee. I like their compensation plan too, it's really good and equal. No, I just market one company, just Javita Coffee Company...

http://www.idahofallsmagazine.com/2014/12/demystifying-Melaleuca does NOT fit any of the descriptions about multi-level marketing. Best double check. 😀 We had to. We thought it was until we looked closer. Opening Online Shopping Accounts! Not a “home parties” company, no inventory, and no delivering of products. Just a website! Best HOME BASED Business we have ever found. And we have been LOOKING! Thanks.
Then what? Since then, all fourth-grade teachers (and third, too) have joined in, gathering at Darlene's home with selected students to sort and pack orders. Last year's fundraiser covered a trip to the Adopt a Stream Foundation. This year, 125 students toured a local museum, and visited Fort Casey on the Puget Sound. "My kids feel a sense of accomplishment, knowing they make these things happen," she says. As student body advisor Darlene also spearheaded a fundraiser to benefit an 80-year-old school volunteer who'd retired. The money bought bulbs, mulch and a garden bench for the woman's yard, and the kids helped plant it all. "For me, Avon provides the means to give back," she says.
As a single mom, I needed to bring in extra money on top of my salary, and I decided to take a look at direct sales companies to make money. It can be tough work, but the 7 companies I’ve listed below provide awesome products, are great to their consultants and designers, and provide lots of resources to help you be successful. The commission I’ve earned from selling Scentsy, Thirty-One Gifts, and recently Origami Owl has helped me through some very tight times. As always, read the requirements of the consultant for each of these companies before making a decision. Do you need some extra cash? Take a look at these direct sales companies to make money and supplement your income!
Selling creative and fun fashion for girls and women, Matilda Jane offers a unique career opportunity for women who love clothing. Women who are interested in joining must first host a trunk show to get a better feel for the company. Once you’ve completed that step you can fill out an online application for consideration. Clothes and accessories range from $16 – $112.

Thanks for this post. Very helpful. I do like direct sales; one reason for this is that it helps keep alive that age-old tradition of people interacting face-to-face (rather than mainly through texting and social media). For that reason, I think MLMs should target the lonely Millennials. Anyway, I was a member/distributor of Advocare for over 10 years and still miss the products and the activities in the company, now that I am temporarily out. I still plan to sign up again when I can afford it (long story–I’ll spare you). I am now involved in Melaleuca, and I must say in their defense that Melaleuca’s products are actually not overpriced. Because Preferred Customers are not only not expected, but also NOT ALLOWED to turn around and sell the products at the retail price, everyone pays the same low prices. (Granted, one can indeed go to the website and buy directly from the company if they do not want to become a Preferred Customer. Why would someone do that when the annual membership is only $19? Only if they do not want to commit to the minimum monthly requirement for Preferred Customers.) Public, keep this in mind! Don’t be fooled by the rebels who are selling old Melaleuca products on Amazon for way above the retail price!! You’re much better off buying fresh products directly from the factory, even if you pay retail price. Just sayin. My big question: What about Tupperware? I have been a Tupperware consultant for about 6 months, and I have found it to be extremely difficult to keep business going. The directors training me have said that Tupperware is the second most widely recognized brand name in the world, second only to Coca-Cola. If that is the case, why is it so hard to find people willing to host Tupperware parties? Why does it seem so hard to sell? Also, is it just me…Or, does Tupperware’s compensation plan stink?

I hardly feel like I chose Trades of Hope at all. It more or less chose me. I was a stay at home mom to two baby girls – ages 3 and 9 months at the time – when I started to feel like I hit some sort of wall. You know the one where you realize you haven’t changed your shirt in an insanely long time or had a conversation with an actual adult? I had graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English & Sociology with a concentration on Race Relations three years prior, and although I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to “be” I would often tell my husband that I just wanted to be an advocate for someone. Never in a million years did I think I would find my calling in Direct Sales. When I came across Trades of Hope at a church fundraiser I was taken with their mission, and it didn’t take very long for me to realize that this was exactly what I’d been looking for – a way to do what so many of us want to do – stay home to raise my babies while making an impact on things that were making me sick inside, like sex trafficking, poverty, lack of education for girls worldwide, etc. And I was going to get paid for telling these incredible stories, educating the public on fair trade, and wearing beautiful handmade jewelry?! I was instantly in love with it. My husband was a little bit nervous that this was too good to be true, but two years later, he is high-fiving me in the hallway when I hit my career goals (yes I said career!), and sending me off to Haiti this October to meet my artisan partners there.

One of the best skincare products in and outside of MLM, no doubt. They were founded by a couple dermatologists, and they used to be an upscale department store brand before entering the world of network marketing. Rodan and Fields created Proactiv, which ended up being one of the most famous skincare products of all time (and a hero-in-a-bottle for every middle schooler who’s ever been called pizza-face). Just this one product line is nearing $1 billion in annual sales.
You could definitely sell this product through social networking. In the end, parties may cost you since you'd have to use the expensive products as demonstrations. I have never used the product myself but I have friends who do and most of them say with a little practice it's easy to apply--though not everyone agrees. Sell this product at your own risk and if it doesn't work out for you at least you have some sweet nail products to keep for yourself.
The uniqueness of the Ambit Energy is the company does not seek to create a lot of noise about it nor promises to create any insane innovations. It just offers simple services to the people such as of providing gas service to home or electricity and all these at a cheaper rate than its competitors. It offers people an exceptional opportunity to save money and this approach does work.
But let's get down to the nitty-gritty. This isn't a cheap product and it's expensive to become and remain a consultant. At minimum it costs $45 to join the Rodan and Fields team but it can cost a much as $995 (yeah, you read that right--almost a thousand bucks) depending on your start up kit. The average kit goes for around $400 so it's no doubt an investment. The compensation guide looks like a science text-book with tons of graphics and colors and numbers. I know from a consultant though that monthly fee includes $25 for your website and $80 for inventory.

Jillian Chase is a US based company that is the brain child of a company that has been in business for more than fifty years with great success. With monthly promotions, bonuses, a fast start program and many levels to achieve even greater income level for everyone. Plus, you don’t have to deliver the product or be limited in where you sell. This company believes in providing the best in customer service and cares about the consultants who represent them. Not great at parties? That is okay, with Jillian Chase, you can sell individually or online. Yes, they have great rewards, too, for the Host or Hostess who does have the party. This company is very unique in that MEN really love the products. Take a look at the catalogue online and see why. Did I mention you don’t have to carry inventory? Also, your very first pieces will be customized just for you to use in your home and to share with family and friends. So, if you decide the company is not for you, there is no lost. You still keep the beautiful pieces at incredible savings.

Busting out into a world where you are met with travel bloggers, hotel jumpers, and digital wanderers, seems to me that #wanderlust had to be one the best ideas ever…out of the MLM industries.  A lot of people are willing to work far away and alone, and a big reason is because people want to travel and see the world. Therefore, a remote income business with a travel MLM company just seems like the right move.   World Ventures came out with a solid effort in the travel niche, and was named as one the incorporation 5000’s fastest growing companies 2 times in a row.
I was browsing the web to see what other at home businesses are out there and ran across your post which I enjoyed. I wanted to share with you another opportunity out there called Perfectly Posh which specializes in naturally based, USA-made pampering products. It’s a one time starter kit which is $99 but you get over $150 worth full sized products, plus samples and printed papers to get you started. They have an online academy, tools to help you thrive, rewards and amazing perks. Commission starts out at %20 and goes up as you advance.
The company. Too many people get lured by the hype, without stopping to consider the company or its product/service. What does the company sell and can you get excited about it? What are the compensation plan, marketing system, and policies, and can you work with it? Is it a member of the DSA, and through your research, been found to be a legitimate company?
BitCoin has completely come mainstream as a way to handle monetary transactions and as an investment vehicle. You literally can make any type of purchase or transaction now with Bitcoin. Many merchants accept it and it can be loaded on a Visa Card and be spent anywhere. Sending and receiving money person to person is the way of the world now. Banks are no longer needed in most cases.
We all know that direct selling is a people business. Measuring field engagement is critical to any company’s success, and consistently delivering on that is a hallmark of the channel. But the field is only part of the people equation. Best Places to Work in Direct Selling celebrates the important role companies play as employers in the marketplace and highlights those companies that are setting the bar for establishing and nurturing work experiences and environments that bring out the very best in people.

When you think about making money from home, one of the first things you need to decide is how much you want to make and how much time you have to give it. There’s a big difference between looking a full-time at-home job, running your own business on your own schedule, and doing one-off tasks that pay a little bit here and there. Let’s take a look at some of the things you can do at each of these levels of “commitment.”

Hi I joined Sparkly Expressions which launched in October 2015. Its free to join right now and you earn 25 % on every sale and get paid directly to paypal for every sale you make. The intelligent companies obsess over ways to get their salespeople profitable FAST. When distributors are profitable, they’re less inclined to quit and less inclined to complain to regulators. Profitability is defined by earning more than you spend. Profitability can be enhanced through customer acquisition models like 3 and free programs, sample products, trainings on how to move inventory, etc. It can also be enhanced by avoiding taxing the distributors with overly expensive (and oftentimes ineffective) training materials.
Start making money by promoting THE top brand in baby carriers that has been rapidly growing its store by including quality baby products parents can rely on. Ergobaby revolutionized how we carry babies back in 2002. Now, with their affiliate program you can refer sales and earn commissions! Do you wear your baby in an Ergo Carrier? If so, when friends ask about it, share your affiliate link with them!
I've been with Young Living for 2.5 years and thankfully have not experienced anything like what Beth posted above. My team is incredibly supportive and willing to share and help. You technically do not ever have to make a purchase after your initial purchase. However, to remain an active member to receive the wholesale discount, you need to make a $50 purchase within a year of your initial order. Of course there's more to it than ordering $50/year if you want to build a business, but there aren't any secrets or hidden fees.
I believe the ones that don’t make it in the industry (if they chose a good one) don’t give it enough time (like you said they quit before a year is up) and commitment to doing what it takes to grow. I don’t spam FB and only 2 family members order product but I have at least 100+ home school moms making >$2000/mth. Some team members make more, some less. It’s what they put into it (business wise not monetary)
I went on to your link and checked out the video and then I was thinking it only targets people who need to lose weight what if you could find a company that targeted everybody and could be used for any health Improvement. I’m actually in a company just like this and if you want to make real money you should check this out you could also potentially get 10 times the amount of customers with what these products are capable of doing
Origami Owl doesn't seem to be a real time-taker-upper and should suit busy or new moms just fine. Honestly, the lockets seem pretty youthful to me and many of them I can't actually see buying and wearing, even at twenty-five (but maybe that's also because my kids would yank that sparkly charm right off my neck) but they'd make a great gift for my middle-school-aged niece and the post earrings would work with my lifestyle. Origami Owl also offers charm bracelets and lanyards (say, for key-cards) and with a product that's so customizable, this would be a great opportunity for fun, bubbly sellers and their friends.
I would love to share with everyone how AMAZING Scentsy is! The main product offered are warmers and wax which is a much safer alternative to scented flame candles. BUT Scentsy is so much more than that with something for everyone including the kids. Skin care, Laundry care and much more. Honestly you don’t need sales experience because everything basically sells itself. I haven’t met anyone who after smelling and sampling Scentsy didnt love it and come back for more! As a DS company, Scentsy offers so many lucrative incentives like trips around the world and amazing commissions. Please allow me to share my love of Scentsy with you! Contact me today to change your life for the better! http://www.sharethelove.Scentsy.us or tiffanyciara@yahoo.com Thanks and have a blessed day!
Here's another skincare and makeup company. This one is totally perfect for busy moms who don't have time to shuffle products, carefully pack boxes for shipment or even host parties, because L'Bri's does it all for you while you hustle from home, on the road, and between your kids' appointments. If you decide to host a party, though, you have the potential to earn even more by pampering your hostess and guests with samplings of your own products, giving them the chance to experience L'Bri's natural lines of makeup, anti-aging serums and sunscreens.
Something multi-level marketing as well as network marketing companies are poised to capitalize on.  As a result, the industry could soon experience larger than life growth, spurred by baby boomers looking to adjust their retirement feelings and plans.  Whether you're interested in starting your own business for retirement income or helping others explore this entrepreneurial path, download our free guide:  How To Start a Business For Retirement Income here
What a great list! Thank you for compiling it and adding frequently. :) Oh, did you know that Creative Memories is back again? They are a direct sales company for quality scrapbooking supplies. The best part is you can make a decent commission and it is only $49 for an entire year. No minimum requirements to maintain your status as an advisor and no requirements to keep inventory! It is a passion of mine and I’d love to talk to about it. Check it out at https://www.creativememories.com/user/cm_preservingmemoriesthroughscrapbooking You get your own website for the entire year too…

We also offer a monthly prize club subscription. That is a lot of fun for the family!! Then you are entered into a monthly drawing for a spin on the wheel for prizes!! April’s winner won $1000 gift!

Trades of Hope- (this is my friend Shelby’s link) Trades of Hope is an amazing company committed to empowering women around the world out of poverty. Their fair trade model helps them support artisans all over the world by helping them earn a living wage. Here’s what Shelby loves about the company- “It’s such an honor to advocate on behalf of & empower women from around the globe to RISE UP out of poverty & human trafficking by selling their beautiful, handmade, fair trade goods & promote sustainability — for both Artisans & TOH Compassionate Entrepreneurs.”
(Update: In June 2017, the co-founder, Dave Wood, has for the time being stepped down following his check-in into drug rehabilitation and the company no longer exists). I wonder if the buzz of Empower Network will ever die down? This is one of those rare gems of the MLM industry that exploded onto the scene and did not hit a bump in the road by dying out only after a year of being out there.  Although now the company is on decline, and its highly doubtful they’ll make it on any lists in the years to come.
Great article! Tons of valuable info to get people going. My daughter recently became a Young Living Essential Oil Representative and she loves it so far. Her sons have autism and the oils work great to help calm them down and also she rubs some on the belly of the one who has gastrointestinal problems and it helps him so much! My daughter made an awesome explanatory video about two of the start up kits. One was 160.00 and the other was 200 and something. I can see the difference in my daughter and my grandson who both smile a lot more. Thanks for sharing.
I see Melaleuca on here. I see that as both good and bad. They are an awesome company with a great compensation plan. However, they are not an MLM. They are not even listed with the federal agency that oversees those companies. They are a Consumer Direct Marketing company. How does that differ? While I am required to purchase a certain amount each month, that’s all I need to purchase. It’s all products I use in my own home for myself. I don’t have a monthly quota to meet. I don’t have to buy product and sell it to people. The idea is that the product goes to the consumer only. In fact, it’s against company policy to buy product and sell it to others. The only comparison I see are the “levels” of customerS in my group. Can you shed any light on why you think they are an MLM? Thanks, so much!
You definitely forgot Thrive by Le-Vel. Premium nutritional supplement line. Weekly commission, no promoter fees, free cloud office, training at your fingertips, free customer accounts, great demand for health right now more than ever. I have never felt better in all my years as a mom. I decided to promote because of the product and how it made me feel. Though all teams within the company may not be as great as my team, it is a wonderful company! My team...we are like family. Always there for each other. I love promoting Thrive!
Hello. Excellent list! I didn’t see BeautiControl or Thrive by Le-Vel listed.. BeautiControl is a skincare company that’s been around for 33 years, with a great skincare line, bath and body, and make up.. Thrive by Le-Vel is a nutritional supplement company that has a super simple system without the restrictions and requirements you typically see in a nutritional system.. http://Www.Dani_marie2003.Le-Vel.com

Personally, this is a company that piques my interest for three reasons--I myself use essential oils, many of my friends use essential oils for their families, and finally, this particular company is sought-after for their product which hails as one of the more pure and trustworthy essential oil retailers in the U.S. These are products that sell themselves, but they're also not for everyone and you must keep that in mind if you do decide to become a consultant. This is a niche product that appeals to those who really value the benefits of essential oils.

You want to go back in a time machine and relive the old days of your younger, fitter and slimmer self?? Well if you just said yes, you are a part of the targeted market: everyone!  With their insane sale profit numbers, this company always makes the list for the top 20 MLM companies in the world, bringing in about $1.4 billion dollars in yearly revenue.  Not only are you selling a product people already have so much trust in, but the new associate cost to sign up is only $30, really one of the lowest.
look if you go and search top MLM businesses, no matter what link you click on, the number one company is amway. Why everyone goes with different companies i don’t get it, check it out compare to mary kay. Here’s the thing though, I contract with amway, but my organization is worldwide. Mentorship organization. I feel which ever MLM business you choose, join a mentorship organization that is in that business. The reason why amway is number one is because of worldwide. it’s only 10% of everyone that is in amway, yet 90% of the 6 and 7 figure earners are part of worldwide…why? because they broken down the company and know exactly how to succeed and retire quicker than someone who tries amway on their own or joins another mentorship company. what’s the success rate? to those who do what others have done 100%. So at the end of the day, consider all of this. With amway and worldwide, it doesn’t matter how old you are, where you come from, ANYONE can do it. Mary Kay is a female company, good luck getting a bunch of single dudes to make it with that.
The major reason behind the success of the company and it making into the top 25 MLM companies is that it was able to prove that the network marketing is just not profitable but can also be interesting in many aspects. The World Ventures managed to attract huge number of youngsters who were mainly delighted with their offer to sell trips to various exotic countries.
If you love luxuriously soft bedding and appreciate organic materials, SOL Organics Bedding may be the perfect fit for you! Earn up to 14% commissions on sales you refer using your affiliate link. You can earn commissions by referring sales in person or online. Host a party with SOL Organics and showcase their luxurious bedding. Earn commissions on all sales you generate using your affiliate link!

Their product lines also include girls and toddler/baby sizes. But here's the bad news: consultants only earn a 25% commission so if you sell around three pairs of leggings in an order you're only earning about $13. If you can hustle your products and remember that that's all of the work you really have to do unless you decide to also host trunk shows, then the potential to earn a steady side-income is there.
The cons of mlm are that most people getting into mlm don’t understand mlm. They apply the incorrect philosophy and it becomes a recipe for disaster. I see dozens of people monthly that join a mlm, don’t work and don’t yield any results and as a result, leave with a bad taste. But with correct leadership that problem could be averted. That is precisely why I love my company. It has the best leadership (in my opinion) and they properly train their agents.
Hey everyone I'm John and I am the owner of this site. I have fallen for many scams, played the recruiting game, and have lost thousands of dollars before finding a program that actually works. With this site, I hope to save you time and money as there are too many gurus that care about nothing else but filling their pockets with your hard earned money.
I thought this article was fantastic. I currently work with an MLM and love it, but I definitely can see why MLM’s would have flaws. However, I also know for me it wasn’t about selling as much as it was SHARING. I have experienced more than a product, I have been able to share the gift of health and the gift of the business itself. I absolutely love it and people who join me in this mission are as passionate as well! I believe when we look at really loving people where they are and actually caring, success will come and not the other way around. That’s the only way I’ve been able to see it happen! Any who, thanks for the tips!
Your comment and it’s militant nature are the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I believe the doTERRA culture is founded upon. I hope anyone reading this thread choose to look past your article and it’s attack on YoungLiving when basing their decision as to which company they choose to go with. I want them to know that the manner in which you needlessly attacked them is in no way a representation of all the other reps nor the company itself.

My sales leader has even customized the weekly meetings when I’m traveling so I can meet with my group by webinar. I don’t feel alone as a Mary Kay consultant I know I can reach out to my friends who are also Mary Kay reps, whenever I’m having difficulties. They completely understand me and help me get through whatever barriers I’m having in my business.

There it is: MLM Company Rankings People usually think that the secret of succeed in a MLM business is offer the best product, or be part of the best company, AND THAT IS JUST NOT TRUE. What you really need, in order to get more leads, and more prospects, is a GOOD TRAINING. Be sponsored by a true leader in network marketing, and learn from him as much as you can. People are tired of receiving all kind of offers that guarantee them a huge monthly income, they don't look for offers any more, THEY LOOK FOR MARKETER LEADERS who can solve their problems THAT'S IT, and that's all what you must do. Be a leader so that people would look for you, instead of you trying to convince them to join your team. Here's a very interesting page were you can get 7 videos for free and learn a lot more of what I talked about. Magnetic Sponsoring If you would like to receive all my training guides and information by email you can contact me. Heres is my web site: http://www.mlmbestadvice.com and my Email:mlmbestadvice@gmail.com I would be pleased to help you.
I feel blessed to have found this opportunity and my purpose will always be to glorify God. I also love helping my team members and customers become the best versions of themselves. Join me — it's fun and you too could change your financial future! If you send me a PM, I'll send you a business presentation to watch. I'd also love to send ya free samples to try!
I spent about 3 years selling Amway back in the 70’s. There was a lot of hype but I made enough money to achieve several of my more modest financial goals. I went on to use some of what I learned to make extra money in various ventures and eventually started a small business out of my home. The business grew until mainstream retailers began offering the same product I was selling at comparable prices. The MLM as a learning tool has some value as long as the product is decent. This MLM ranking is a good way to attract attention and I am curious about Your service. I am selective about what I spend my time and effort on.
