This company seems really awesome to me as a busy mom because obviously you're not going to hold inventory or even parties (unless you're also going to market Gardenuity's small "Garden Inspired Living" line of teas, home decor and home fragrances). The stock seems seasonal, giving customers a reason to peek back each season to see what they can grow next. So, your compensation is based on your ability to market the brand/product and from there you'll earn a percentage of the sales. But what IS that percentage? It's not clear. I have a message into the Gardenuity customer service and will be back ASAP with an update.

Hey Jesse, you forgot about Primerica! My brother makes a lot of money with them and he’s only been there 6 years and he makes $8-10 Grand a month now! Kindve wish I would’ve started with him when he first joined because the company does have great concepts and just recently was named one of Forbes top 50 trustworthy companies! That’s awesome! I didn’t have the time to commit then but I just got rolling 2 months ago and I’ve made $900 this month and will be over a grand once I help this next family get a policy in place! I so wish I would’ve got started years ago!

http://www.idahofallsmagazine.com/2014/12/demystifying-Melaleuca does NOT fit any of the descriptions about multi-level marketing. Best double check. 😀 We had to. We thought it was until we looked closer. Opening Online Shopping Accounts! Not a “home parties” company, no inventory, and no delivering of products. Just a website! Best HOME BASED Business we have ever found. And we have been LOOKING! Thanks.
Founded in 1978, Forever Living Products is a multi-billion dollar MLM company with a presence in over 150 countries. Forever Living manufactures and sells dozens of exclusive, beneficial wellness products based on aloe vera. According to Forever Living, aloe enhances the body, inside and out, and its products ranging from age-defying facial treatments to delicious, antioxidant rich drinks.
We’ve recently started a crazy cool “give and get” rewards program to help new Compassionate Entrepreneurs get off to a strong start, creating a business that is sustainable for our artisan partners and income generating for their own family. If you bring in $1000 in sales in the first full month (which is about 2 home parties), you’re given a $100 coupon to build your kit and you also gift 12 baby chicks to a family in Africa. Hit your $1000 in the 2nd month and you earn another $100 coupon and feed a child in a Haitian orphanage for a month, and so on…. When it’s all said and done you have the opportunity to earn $1800 in ToH coupons in your first 4 months, and could even send a girl to school for a year in Haiti. I was able to hit all of these goals, and now I’ll be meeting the girl that I am sponsoring through my business as I travel with Trades of Hope to  Haiti this coming October. This entire program speaks volumes about the heart of our founders and company, and is just an incredible opportunity.

MaryAnne, I would recommend finding a product that you LOVE, a product that you feel can benefit the people around you and who you feel integrity with. You want to find their products useful so that you will feel good about buying them every month and want to share them with other. It is a business, but you also want to be able to have fun with it too
Long before becoming a billionaire, and even before starting Omnilife, Jorge Vergara sold tacos on the streets of Mexico. He then secretly brought in Herbalife supplements into the country.  While there, he was able to get the Mexican government to change regulations put in place for their nutritional products division.  Talk about a life filled with action…this guy could probably sell his life story and make millions more (he could probably win several awards, side note: he’s actually a film producer casually on the side).

In the earlier 2000’s everyone in the network marketing industry new about ACN.  Accelerate time and land in 2017, the telecommunication strategy company has seen better days and has continued to decline over the last 5 years.  However, with $800+ million in yearly revenue still coming in, it’s not bad at all.  You can still call them a “has been” company and they have ultimately met their demise by a failing to update themselves.
This one is debatable. Based on my observations, companies tend to do better when they have a physical presence for the corporate team to work. The idea of a “cloud based” office sounds nice, but in my opinion, it’s a little cheap and leads to less production. I think it’s important for executives to provide a consistent environment for people to come together during normal office hours and focus intensely on their duties to the company. There’s value in people coming together daily in a physical environment, sparking ideas off of each other at random times. If there’s no physical location, the company, in my opinion, is typically unable to adapt and change quick enough to stay ahead of the competition.
Writing – Whether it is blog content, articles, or business letters, this way of monetizing your skills has become quite common. Micro-job sites like Fiverr allow you to post your skills as “gigs” that you sell for a price, usually a few dollars. Sites like Freelancer and Upwork are “business to consumer” sites where sellers are linked with buyers. Most of the time jobs are awarded based on skills, qualification, buyer needs, and bids made by the seller (you, the freelancer) to get the buyer’s work done. Other sites screen you by requiring you to provide a sample before you are graded and placed in the appropriate writer level based on your writing skill.
New team members are immediately given access to a training app where they watch short videos that walk them through the basics of kick-starting their business, and as they complete each training level they are able to earn prizes (fun bonus!). Once you’re through with the training track you can find extra info, ideas, and inspiration in our back office and Facebook communities. You’re also plugged into the sisterhood, which was invaluable to me when I first started out. We have an upline full of compassionate, like-hearted leaders who are available to you every step of the way (myself included!). We also have a yearly conference that’s held in Orlando (this year it’s in Nashville), where you have the opportunity to meet the Trades of Hope founders, receive in-person training, meet artisan partners, and hear behind the scenes info about the impact that you’re having as you work your business every day. I had zero direct sales experience when I jumped into this, and two years later I’ve got a good handle on how this whole relational business model works, and have built a business that is way more successful than I ever anticipated.
Le-Vel is a lifestyle brand that helps people feel their best through supplements, shakes, bars, and derma fusion patches. Their Promoter opportunity is available in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and Mexico. Promoters earn 20 percent of retail sales and can earn bonuses, rewards, and prizes for meeting goals and milestones along the way. Le-Vel has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Along with the market itself, the number of potential prospects are also expanding with the movement of people getting out of the rat race and achieving leveraged income. Many of the highest paid professionals from major companies are migrating toward network marketing opportunities for this reason. Professionals in these position typically make a lot of money, but their time is extremely limited. Therefore, the value of leveraged income is paramount to their continued success, and they recognize the benefits of partnering with a network marketing company to bridge the gap.

My wife and I spent the last 2 days reading your reviews on the DSD business and we are really interested in this. Both of us have been in the MLM business (corporate) for years and feel like it’s time to get away from the usual 9-5. Would you mind emailing me a complete compensation plan (rank & pay-out, active level requirement, etc.) as well as some of the must-do items in the first 30,60,90 days period?
We also offer a monthly prize club subscription. If you subscribe, each month, you are sent a 3 wick candle, with a ring valued at $40, and 2 essential bath bombs (they do not contain jewlery) in addition, you are given a map with a post card and stamp for the state that the candle represents! That is a lot of fun for the family!! Then you are entered into a monthly drawing for a spin on the wheel for prizes!! April’s winner won $1000 gift!
FLP may not be the wealthiest MLM on this list, but they deserve a spot because of their long-term dedication to the aloe vera plant and products made from it. Few MLMs display such product dedication and integrity as FLP. And few MLM’s have such a concentrated niche. That screams longevity over the other hundreds of other “full service wellness” companies.
I think when you made comments about a company you should have kept them neutral or not only commented part of a story. Ambit did have a lawsuit, but it also has several JD Power awards, A+BBB, and many other accolades. I don’t know details of the suit, it may have been 100% justified, but I do know lawsuits are not always justified. Sometimes people are looking to make a buck

Best MLM companies 2018 : For companies who wish to avoid spending huge amounts of money in the traditional way of advertising the Multi-Level Marketing scheme has proved itself to be of a more worthy and profitable way for promoting the companies with big business logo design and an overall servicing concept. Another positive aspect of the multi-level marketing is that it provides for the possibility for millions of active people and corporations that are not big enough to make profits. Beneath is the list of the most reliable, popular, recognizable and the best MLM companies as of Summer 2017.
MLM has stretched its sticky fingers out into just about every product market out there, so it’s kinda hard to do something new nowadays. But Jamberry Nails did it. Their adhesive, custom nail designs BLEW UP when they hit the direct sales floor. They built up an army of over 100,000 consultants in the time it takes most people to get a mediocre pay raise at their 9-5.
In just 30 years, Melaleuca has grown from a little startup in rural Idaho to a billion-dollar enterprise doing business in 19 countries around the globe. It has become one of the largest catalog and online wellness retailers in North America. And it is the largest manufacturer of consumer packaged goods in the Northwest. Today, more than a million customers shop with Melaleuca every month.
Awesome benefits to Distributrs like monthly gifts, travel and vacation incentives. I am bold to say that Swissgarde is the best MLM business in Nigeria. A lot of pyramid schemes come into this country and promise get rich quick compensation plans. No wonder they fizzle out in a short period of time after swindling people of their hard-earned money. Swissgarde has been here for over 16 years, with effective herbal products for health and beauty. The monthly pay out is so transparent that you can easily calculate your take home even before it arrives. Distributors get lots of incentives even while making money for themselves. It's an awesome opportunity for anyone who loves network marketing. You can contact me for more information.

These nonsalaried workers may be stay-at-home parents, college students or part-time workers hoping to make money by selling products such as vitamins and makeup to their friends and family. But experts note that just selling products is typically not enough to make a profit, and workers are encouraged to recruit a "downline," a team of underlings from whose sales they also earn a commission, creating a pyramid-shaped compensation structure.
Im not sure where you get your information but you are wrong on It Works. I have been with thr company 3 years now and have paid off all my credit cards and paid off my car in full. The start up cost is only $99 which you would know had you actually reasearched and looked at the site. Your comment about being sure to fail is way off. I haven't failed, my team hasn't failed and neither have those that I know personally making $100,000 per month. It Works is a Billion Dollar DEBT FREE company. Our CEO is awesome. Had you done full research, you would see the truth about how great of a company this is. Like ALLLLL DS companies, you get out of it what you put into it. If anyone says you're sure to fail, they failed themsleves, the company didnt fail them. Im very disappointed that this type of blogging isnt fact related but simply opinion bases.
I would really like to find a profitable at-home business opportunity, but selling is difficult. The family, friends and coworkers I have watch their money and won’t spend money on items that are very expensive, such as crystal, Pampered Chef, Yankee Candle, etc. Most people I talk to want low-cost items they can use everyday, ranging from house goods, food and clothing. I prefer catalog sales since it’s easy to bring with me anywhere I go. Although I do have a full time job, I’m looking to create a 2nd income so I can pay off some old debt and rebuild my credit again. If anyone can help, please let me know! I’m not looking to shell out money for kits that are very costly. Thank you! Please email Brian at briguyct at gmail.

Nikken is an MLM company created in 1975 by Isamu Masuda with the main goal of producing effective wellness solutions. Its first product, The Magstep, was focused on solving body fatigue and sore feet problems. In 1989, the company expanded to North America and has since entered new markets (countries) all around the world. The company makes about $9 billion in revenues annually.
I’m an Independent Consultant for Thirty One Gifts. Absolutely the best direct selling company I’ve been a part of. We celebrate women as well as family. The company also gives to charities. The incentives for New Consultants are wonderful! Please take a moment to check it out. $99 special to join with extra incentives going on now to help with the Holiday cash flow for you and your family. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact me at dwawhi@aol.com.
Scentsy is a party plan MLM company offering a variety of home and personal fragrance products, including a popular line of scented wickless candles and decorative ceramic warmers. Scentsy Independent Consultants sell products through home parties, fairs and shows and online. For just $99, you can get a starter kit with everything you need to launch your new business.

Visit our site and ask any questions http://www.linashealthyliving.com/ Thank you

Kierstin, I used to sell Posh, but let it go this year due to being too busy to keep up. I will forever be a user of Never Grow Up Serum and Creme, Moisture 911 and many of the other products!! I have been complimented on my fine line wrinkles around my eyes going away from using these products. I love them all!! Mask, lip balms, lip scrubs, BFYHC, and more!! GREAT COMPANY and LINE OF PRODUCTS!!!
It's only $10 to join, and if you want to buy a kit with inventory the price goes up from there, but not by much, and consultants earn 30% of sales. What I can't tell is whether you're able to sell straight from the site or if you're required to carry inventory, and my honest opinion is that you're not going to make a huge or steady income with this company because the product lines aren't refined enough to garner a cult following like some of the other direct sales companies out there. But I've added it to this list for three reasons:
In order to find success with any of the top MLM opportunity, it comes down to finding a company that is the right fit for you. There is a lot to consider in the decision-making process. How long has the company been around? What is the compensation plan like? Is it an opportunity that you can feel passionate about? The answers to your questions will ultimately determine your future.
I appreciate this comment. I’m a doTERRA gal. When I signed up I said I’d never sell. I just wanted to buy and use the oils. Then because of my love for them, people started coming to me for education and asking where they could get oils. So now I sell them. I’m not a sales person. I can’t bug my friends about stuff. But I’m growing this business because I truly believe in the products and use them every single day. I may not ever become rich from this and that’s OK with me. I won’t consider it a failure. Every person I help is a success in my book!

I am based in Europe and i was asked by loads of DS companies to join them but i didnt like the residual paychecks (topline do nothing whilst others work)MLM aspects etc UNTIL Scentsy came to Europe – it has been a blast!! We made our 99 euro starter kit fee back in one party, built a team of over 310 people in 18 months, won an incentive to Las Vegas/ Annual Mentor Award and much more.

One of the best skincare products in and outside of MLM, no doubt. They were founded by a couple dermatologists, and they used to be an upscale department store brand before entering the world of network marketing. Rodan and Fields created Proactiv, which ended up being one of the most famous skincare products of all time (and a hero-in-a-bottle for every middle schooler who’s ever been called pizza-face). Just this one product line is nearing $1 billion in annual sales.

Hi Gloria, If you are interested in Personal Protection Products, Damsel in Defense is a Great new, fun and supportive company. Just enough products to offer but not too many, Light, quick and easy to set up and you don’t need to carry inventory. 2 different start up fees that include everything you need to get started. I’m happy to tell you more if you’d like. Good luck with your search:)
I am over a year in and I am making almost half my income with this little hair jewelry company. A word of warning to others though, DS is not a get rich quick scheme. I put in about 15-20 hours a week after my kids go to sleep promoting this product. It is a job. A job that has made it possible for me to pay the bills and spoil my kids a bit, but yes, a job.
Hmmm, what should I say about this company, well it still seems like they are far from “the finest and most-respectable retail energy provider in America,” I feel this way because it was just a few years ago that they were dealing with a class action lawsuit.  But when you have $1.5 billion in revenue in the bank from your global business, a lawsuit doesn’t really seem to break your stride.
An analysis of 32 income disclosure statements from direct selling companies by TruthInAdvertising.org found that 80 percent of distributors, or people selling their products, grossed less than $1,200 per year before expenses. At about half of those companies, the majority of distributors made no money at all. "Given that context, any income claim that expressly states or implies that this is a way for someone to gain financial freedom, to become wealthy, travel the world, become a stay-at-home parent is just false and deceptive," says Bonnie Patten, executive director for TruthInAdvertising.org.

I was skimming through the postings on this site and wanted to respond to you with another great company that is highly recommended by top endorsers in the sports industry. I can vouch for them since I’ve tried and had results with the products. The company, AdvoCare. You are welcome to visit my site ans read my story as well as others -> https://www.advocare.com/13042399/default.aspx Give me a call or send email to advoalive@gmail.com. Should you want to join only as a Preferred Customer instead of a Distributor, the joining price is AMAZING!! Visit here: https://www.advocare.com/13042399/Enrollment/PreferCustomerBasicInfo.aspx Let me know what you think! Thanks!
Oh, Arbonne. In the past I have had several friends and acquaintances become Arbonne consultants. Some were successful, some were not. It really came down to the time and energy they were willing (and most importantly, able) to invest in this company. Those with young kids failed. It's time consuming and requires a lot follow up with potential customers.

Except we don't have a container garden. We have one strawberry plant that our cat ate (thanks, Meredith). Gardenuity, a company that ships the container garden straight to your door, gives me the hope that one day this daydream will be a reality. Customers can choose from indoor herb kits or outdoor veggie gardens with which they'll receive their plant, container, soil, compost, plant food and (here's the the best part) concierge service which means they can panic call customer service to troubleshoot issues common to those who lack a green thumb.

They’re sliding, though. Revenue is falling in North America and their sales force is shrinking. Revenue slid 19% in 2013 and 7% in Mexico. Skip ahead to July 2015 and revenue is still spiraling downward, with a 17% drop (5). Analysts blame Avon’s failure to maintain a strong identity for its products as well as the strong dollar. Lesson: Always re-create yourself.
This can seem like an overwhelming task initially. Just because of the sheer volume of direct sales companies that are out there. Let's break it down into an easier task. I've found over the years from my own personal experience, as well as talking with 100's of other men and women in direct sales that by asking yourself certain questions, you can narrow down your search immensely. And take your time – mull it over. Sleep on it.
I’m from the uk. I am a Matron in a GP practice and have been approached by Arbonne. Ur video confirms most of my thoughts although doing aesthetics as a side line I though I might be able to run along side that and so not have to approach family n friends as that is horrendous!!! – i am really interested in ur local league marketing though – how would I find out more about this
loved your notes..... great opportunities are for everyone and anyone. It's not about being black or white, rich or poor, fat or thin, educated or dropping out, it's about taking a chance on yourself, ......ask questions, make friends, get new fun experiences and earn a few extra dollars too. I tried a few, stuck with mary kay 12 years....when I worked, it worked,.....when I did nothing....well you know. Pray and ask GOD where you need to be.....you can do anything.
I have tried Arbonne products. They're not life-changing, though I'll admit they're not only beautifully packaged, but they somehow feel extra luxurious in comparison to anything at the drug store. Because of the price, I wouldn't recommend trying to sell to your fellow mommy friends who are probably already feeling guilt about the air-freshener plug-in they bought at Wal-Mart. If you decide to sell Arbonne, branch out to friends and family with older children or even try throwing parties with the high school crowd where everyone gets to experience a facial and a foot soak. That's how you really sell this stuff.
You’ve probably heard of the grueling P90X workout system, but did you know that Team Beachbody offers a whole line of workout programs, shakes, supplements, nutritional bars, gear and much more? With a low startup cost of $39.95 and a monthly recurring fee of $15.95 – this could be a great home-based business opportunity for the fitness enthusiast.
I’m with LifeVantage and TeaLife. Both great companies to work with. LV we have 6 ways of being paid..commissions plus residual income on something no one else has. Big pharmacy is trying to synthetically create what we have in drug form that will have side effects. But we are natural. TeaLife is organic loose teas that are so yummy! 30% commissions on teas and 20% tea accessories. I order from both these companies as well because I believe in them 100%. If anyone has any questions please email me: dawnmahaney1@outlook.com
Just about everyone loves a little extra sprinkle of goodness, a tasty touch that completes a dish. For us, it's all about the nibs. We love them on top of smoothies to add that extra crunch. I thought That your article was very good. My wife recently joined this company called World Ventures and me being me I figured it would be like some of the other companies that she has joined. You know a bunch of women companies scentsy, 31, etc but the reason I took notice is when she made 500. I know it’s not much but i know if she can make that faster than she has with some of the others she has joined without my help then maybe this thing is the real deal. What do you know about it? I have met some of the people and they seem genuine unlike some of these others like Amway and I don’t feel like it’s all about freaking selling like most of the others. Just shoot it to me straight.
Odds are, somebody in your life works or has worked for a multi-level marking company, called MLM companies for short. If you’ve ever had a friend on social media invite you to join their sales team or attend an online shopping party, it probably had connections to an MLM company. Some people think of MLM companies as some opportunistic scam, but that actually couldn’t be further from the truth. Learning a little bit about how these companies can help you understand why they provide a wealth of opportunity for income and professional growth. In fact, you’re probably very familiar with many of the best MLM companies in the business without even knowing it.
Hi I joined Sparkly Expressions which launched in October 2015. Its free to join right now and you earn 25 % on every sale and get paid directly to paypal for every sale you make. Amber Sadowy I’m holding my daughter in the picture.

I’m a Rodan+Fields Independent Consultant. I love the company, as you’re not required to have parties, or carry any inventory!!! The best part, is that the majority of your work is done online through social media!!! The Today Show recently did a segment on Rodan+Fields!!! Check out my site, and feel free to contact me with any questions. The BEST decision I’ve made in a long time ‼️.
Here we’ve got a throwback to network marketing’s roots (Remember Tupperware parties? No? There’s a reason for that). Kitchen products, cooking demos, and mommy bloggers galore. Stay-at-home-moms looking for some flexibility are still a HUGE target demographic for MLM, so it’s no surprise that Pampered Chef has done so well that Warren Buffett decided he needed a piece of the action.
The interviews and psychological connections lead me to conclude that MLM and NM companies, along with other small businesses opportunities, are important considerations for anyone entering retirement.  In fact, I believe the concept of starting a business for retirement income will become one of the most significant trends impacting retirement in the 21st century.  But it has to start with redefining entrepreneurship and framing it into a retirement lifestyle.  That means helping people find ways to turn a passion, hobby, or personal desire into extra money in their pocket… not to mention helping people see the importance of  planning for the non-financial aspects of retirement such as replacing a work identity, staying relevant and connected, as well as keeping mentally and physically fit.
Damsel in Defense is about equipping women with the tools to not only keep them safe but also to give them the confidence to know that they have a way out if they ever feel threatened. We are very excited about our affordable and adorable line of products. Whether you are at home or traveling, running or celebrating downtown with the girls, Damsel in Defense has the products and fact-based education that can and does save lives.
Origami Owl doesn't seem to be a real time-taker-upper and should suit busy or new moms just fine. Honestly, the lockets seem pretty youthful to me and many of them I can't actually see buying and wearing, even at twenty-five (but maybe that's also because my kids would yank that sparkly charm right off my neck) but they'd make a great gift for my middle-school-aged niece and the post earrings would work with my lifestyle. Origami Owl also offers charm bracelets and lanyards (say, for key-cards) and with a product that's so customizable, this would be a great opportunity for fun, bubbly sellers and their friends.

The great thing about this day and age is that there are so many opportunities to be a direct sales person even if you are in introvert or can’t get out of the house. Facebook parties are huge, social media is a great way to spread awareness, you can even start a blog about your products and experience with them! While in home parties are always fun, and usually have great sales, they are no longer the only way to approach direct sales!

How MLM companies are NOT considered Pyramid organizations is beyond me! They are all scams by the very nature of their organization structure. Those who start or get in early benefit directly from the efforts of those beneath them, forever. Not to mention the fact that most product sold through any of these MLM organization’s is to the dealer network itself. The top dogs are making money regardless as long as there is new blood coming in. And the best way to keep new blood coming in is to incentivize those at the lower middle and below to continue recruiting to build “a network of their own”. And those on the verge of “breaking through” who have already invested a small fortune in products along the way that are sitting on their pantry shelves NEED to keep recruiting. The very thing that differentiates a Pyramid scheme from an MLM is that an MLM sells an actual product. That is it. It doesn’t determine who that product is sold to as it should since we know that most product is sold to the worker bees and not to the general public for long.

The company. Too many people get lured by the hype, without stopping to consider the company or its product/service. What does the company sell and can you get excited about it? What are the compensation plan, marketing system, and policies, and can you work with it? Is it a member of the DSA, and through your research, been found to be a legitimate company?

Direct sales, multi-level marketing, and network marketing companies are everywhere right now! It seems like everywhere you turn on social media, one of your friends is trying to sell you something, right? While sometimes these companies get a bad name from the “product pushers” out there, direct sales companies are a great way for moms to make extra income, socialize, and have a job while spending time with their little ones. This post will dig into 10 of the best direct sales companies for moms.
My name is Lesley Mcquade and I am a skin care consultant with Rodan+Fields and I have been with the company for a year. We just launched in Canada in Feb but have been in the US for 6 years. We only do online sales and I help women chose the right regimen for them. We have 4 regimens for acne, anti-aging, red sensitive skin and sun damage. We have an amazing community of women, some earning enough money to retire due to our residual income model. We even have million dollar earners. I am surprised not to see Thirty One on your list. I know you are hearing a lot about it locally but we are struggling to grow team members west of the Mississippi! Since your blog has nationally known any exposure would be great! The other KEY fact about Thirty one http://www.mythirtyone.com/amberjdavis is we are expected to triple in size this year! This is important if you want to promote to management in a DS company! We are only 10 years old and a baby in the industry! Starting Feb.16 YOU can start for $99 and receive a $99 rebate! Basically, start for free! I defiantly need to consider an ad with your page!

I’m surprised Rodan and Fields didn’t make the list, considering they are the fourth largest premium skin care company with the top three being 50+year old companies, Estée Lauder, Lancôme & Clinique. We are North America’s 4th largest and fastest growing premium skincare company, but we’re not in stores, the top 3 — Clinique, Lancôme and Estée Lauder.
